The Importance of Communication in a Connected World

We are meant to be in communication and community with one another. In today’s world, we have more ways to connect than ever before. It’s fascinating to think about how far communication has evolved.

From the days of sending letters—perhaps sped up by the pony express—we now have the ability to instantly text, reaching not just a household but every individual within it. It’s hard to imagine a time without phones, yet I still remember when having speed dial on a home phone mounted to the kitchen wall seemed cutting-edge.

With the advent of emails, text messages, and phone calls, communication has never been more instantaneous. For those of us in the service industry, keeping our customers informed at every step of the process is vital to ensuring a seamless experience.

We understand that no one wants to feel bombarded with messages, but we also know the value of keeping our customers in the loop. That’s why we’ve invested time and resources into implementing systems that allow us to email and text when an appointment is scheduled, when our technician is on the way, and when the work is complete. We even include a picture of the technician, so our customers know exactly who to expect.

Ultimately, we believe it’s better to overcommunicate than to leave anyone feeling uncertain or out of the loop.
