As Christmas approaches, it’s easy to get swept up in the busyness of the season—gifts, gatherings, and glowing decorations. But at the heart of it all is a much deeper truth: the reason for the season is Jesus.

Isaiah 9:6 reminds us of the incredible gift we celebrate:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

In this season of joy, it’s also a time to reflect on the gifts God has given each of us. As Psalm 33:20-22 says:
“We put our hope in the LORD; he is our protector and our help. We are glad because of him; we trust in his holy name. May your constant love be with us, LORD, as we put our hope in you.”
